Six4Three v. Facebook sealed exhibits

In 2019, a cache of leaked Facebook documents connected to litigation by Six4Three against the social media company were made publicly available by NBC News and other outlets. The files include approximately 7,000 pages, of which about 4,000 are internal Facebook communications such as emails, web chats, notes, presentations and spreadsheets, primarily from 2011 to 2015.

We have reviewed the documents and have archived materials that include direct communications (emails, chats) from Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg Posts and Interviews about the Metaverse

On October 28, 2021, Zuckerberg’s keynote address at Connect 2021 included two major announcements: the formation of a new parent company Meta, and the new focus on developing the metaverse.

In the weeks that followed, Zuckerberg was interviewed by assorted media outlets and made numerous Facebook posts about the new endeavors. We’re archiving them all, and here’s a sampling.

Zuckerberg Response to Whistleblower

These past few weeks have seen the publication of The Facebook Files from The Wall Street Journal featuring information provided by a whistleblower detailing Facebook’s internal knowledge of numerous ways in which the platform creates societal harm. Frances Haugen came forward as the whistleblower on 60 Minutes and later testified before Congress.

Zuckerberg has since responded to Haugen’s accusations in an email sent to Facebook employees. We have that statement archived here.

All of these are in the archive.

We’re also working on a solution to start archiving photos Zuckerberg posts to his Facebook and Instagram accounts. More on that soon…

Documents from the Hearing on “Online Platforms and Market Power: Examining the Dominance of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google”

On July 29, 2020, the U.S. House Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee held a hearing titled, “Online Platforms and Market Power, Part 6: Examining the Dominance of Amazon, Facebook, Google and Apple.” In the hearing, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Apple’s Tim Cook, Google’s Sundar Pichai and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook faced questions about whether their company’s practices created an anti-competitive environment.

Zuckerberg’s testimony is archived here (video/transcript), but the Judiciary Committee also released numerous relevant documents uncovered during their investigation of these companies.

We have archived the documents that include direct correspondence from Mark Zuckerberg, and converted the PDFs to be more searchable for our users:
