The archive also includes over 275 videos of Zuckerberg’s public appearances.
The Zuckerberg Files is hosted at Marquette University’s digital Institutional Repository, and is curated by Michael Zimmer.
The full bibliographic and metadata for The Zuckerberg Files are freely available to the public, including valid URLs to the original source material. Access to the full-text transcripts and archived video files has been password-protected in adherence to the “Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Scholarly Research in Communication.” Access to full archive can be requested here.
The idea of creating The Zuckerberg Files arose from a conversation between Michael Zimmer, Anna Lauren Hoffmann, and Kate Raynes-Goldie at the 2010 Association of Internet Researchers conference in Gothenburg, Sweden. The archive was launched in 2013.
The logo was designed by Anna Lauren Hoffmann, and we have benefited from the support of numerous dedicated students at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since its launch.
